If you love to watch the ballet, you must see the Ballet Victoria Society. Director Paul Destrooper has created a contemporary and thrilling ballet for audiences to enjoy. The Ballet Victoria Society is one of the most admired ballet companies in the country.
All ages will enjoy the harmonizing of ballet, dramatics, and music offered in the show. There are four productions every season in which the ballet collaborates with local artists, choirs, and musicians with the styling’s of international choreographers. Coming this October, you can enjoy “Dracula” at the McPherson Playhouse of Victoria and in Decemeber, “The Gift”, at the Royal Theatre.
Chemainus Theatre Festival - 9737 Chemainus Theatre Road, Chemainus, BC
Chemainus Theatre is a theatre company offering year-round performances. You can enjoy musicals, plays, and old classics. They are a non-profit society and while you’re there you can enjoy the gift shop and Playbill Dining Room. Coming in October is the “Over the River and Through the Woods” by Joe DiPietro and coming in November is “Sherlock Holmes and the case of the Christmas Carol.”
Langham Court Theatre - 805 Langham Court, Victoria, BC
The Langham Court Theatre was formed back in 1929. Since opening the theatre has put on 3,000 performances and over 500 shows to a quarter of a million patrons thanks to 27,000 Guild volunteers. It’s one of the oldest theatre groups in Western Canada. Coming this October, enjoy “Pride and Prejudice” and in November “The Small Room at the Top of the Stairs.”
