The Maritime Museum of British Columbia is the place for those enjoying all types of nautical fun. This museum is a great place for kids and adults with all types of attractions including shipwrecks, pirates, heritage vessels and more. Many features exhibits are shown here including the singular sailboats, Dorothy, Tilikum and Trekka.
This museum is found in the downtown area of Victoria at 28 Bastion Square. It provides both permanent and featured exhibits including:

You can tour the museum as a family, as a class or as any other group. They also provide programs for all ages, as well. Along with all of the above exhibits, there are many coming in 2014, including:

Tips for Your Museum Visit
Whenever visiting the museum, allow extra time so that you can see everything you want to see. The museum covers three floors and there’s a lot to see. If you plant to bring in a group, setting up a group tour is the best way to do it.
You will also want to bring your camera as they do allow pictures. If you need help getting in between floors contact the museum ahead of time.
Admission and Hours
Adults get into the museum for $12 each and student get in for $10. Children 12 and under are free with a paying adult and a family pass is $30.
The museum is open every day of the week from 10am to 5pm.
