Visit the Heritage Tent for a number of great performances including Harpist Allison Vardy, Presenter Captain Chris Hoskin, and the Victoria Gaelic Choir among others. Watch Gaelic Football as the J P Ryans' Hurling Team demonstrates the sport and then allows audience participation.
Don't miss the yearly Tartan parade and of course the Pub Crawl that goes through four amazing pubs in downtown Victoria. A double decker will take you to each destination. The Clan Torchlight Ceremony is to acknowledge the clans involved in the games. This is a great event to watch as watch clan receives a lit torch and stands together to form a Scottish Saltire.
Following this the Games duty pipe band will end with a performance. Some of the games you will enjoy seeing the clans in include heavy events with eight traditional throwing events. These include putting the stone, throwing the hammer, and tossing the caber which looks like a phone pole so you don't want to miss that.
