Easter provides a time of the year for plenty of events. Some of the Victoria events happen every year during the Easter Holiday. Here's a look a three upcoming events you can enjoy if you will be celebrating Easter in Victoria.
16th Annual South Pender Island Easter Sunday Art Walk - April 5th from 12pm to 5pm
This is a free art walk for all to enjoy and a great way to spend Easter Sunday. You can visit up to a dozen studios on South Pender Island with jewellers, printers, painters, woodworkers, glass artists and more. Enter to win a basket of gifts form the artists and look for the yellow balloon marking the participating studios.
If you want to bring the entire family out, you can catch the morning ferry at 9:35am and the return ferry at either 5:30pm or 6:15pm. It takes about 40 minutes to cross to South Pender Island.
Easter High Tea - April 5th at 11am, 1pm and 3pm
The Teahouse at Abkhazi Garden will hold the Easter High Tea with three seatings on Easter Sunday. You can reserve your seat and enjoy a menu full of fresh fruit, baked goods and much more. Of course, you will be able to enjoy plenty of delicious tea, as well. Each seat is $38 and can be reserved with a Visa or MasterCard. Get more details at, http://www.abkhaziteahouse.com.
Easter Vintage, Retro & Collectible Show/Sale - April 5th from 9:30am to 4pm
This show/sale will be held at the Mary Winspear Centre and will provide more than 45 vendors. You will find all types of reuse and repurpose items, such as vinyl records, toys, textiles, jewellry, linen and more. There's something for everybody and admission is just $4. You can get early bird admission for $20, which gets you in the door an hour early.
These are just a few of the many Easter events happening throughout Victoria. Whether you enjoy a sale, want to scope out some art or prefer to relax with tea, there's an event perfect for your Easter Sunday.
