After much research to foster her vision, she opened a gravity bar on a store front on Johnson Street and the rest was history as the famous saying goes.

The chef at Rebar Modern Food conscientiously uses cooking techniques such as steaming and roasting to prepare its vegetables and they personally grind fresh herbs and spices to give each dish the taste of perfection.

Since Rebar purposes to buy from local farmers, summertime is when you can find the most organic and locally grown produce. During the off-season, they source through local greenhouses when possible and still deliver quite a menu.
