Found not far from Victoria, Central Saanich provides an area for both rural and urban living. No matter what type of lifestyles you prefer, you can find both here. Brentwood Bay

This is a village with plenty of amenities including waterfront restaurants, a marina, plenty of shopping and a great place for canoeing, kayaking and mountain hiking.

Saanichton

A rural community with plenty of rose gardens, flower and bed and breakfast homes, this is a popular area for those looking for privacy. You'll find campgrounds, parks, forests and small farms throughout this part of Central Saanich.

Butchart Gardens

This used to be a limestone quarry, but has become a place filled with flowers. It's 20 hectare in size and provides fun for over one million visitors every year.

Brentwood Bay-Mill Bay Ferry

Just 25 minutes on the ferry will get you from one bay to the other. You'll travel to or from the Swartz Bay terminal across the Saanich Inlet to your destination.

Along with the many excellent parks and attractions, you can enjoy many events including the Saanich Fall Fair every Labour Day, Central Saanich Days on BC Day Weekend and many others. Many other events happen throughout the year at the great parks including:
