Fall WalkFall is a beautiful time in the Victoria area and there are plenty of great places to take a fall walk. Whether you prefer a park or you want to see a little bit of art, too, there are places to go throughout Victoria. Here are some of the top choices for your fall walk.

Thetis Lake

Found about 15 minutes from the downtown Victoria area, this lake provides plenty of trails and a regional park. You can spend the entire afternoon enjoying the scenic lake, along with plenty more. If you want to make a weekend out of it, you can even enjoy the Thetis Lake Campground.

Sooke Potholes

Another good spot found a little further from the city is the Sooke Potholes. This area provides a very rare geological formation with rock pools full of clear, fresh water. You can enjoy walking through the area and if you're not afraid of the cold, you can enjoy a dip in the water by the beach. This is an interesting place and provides plenty of fall beauty.

Selkirk Trestle

The Selkirk Trestle Bridges provide a beautiful area just outside of the downtown area of Victoria. This area provides all types of colour in the fall. It's a long wooden bridge, which is a great sight in and of itself. A walk on the Galloping Goose Trail will provide plenty of very vibrant autumn colours.

Goldstream Park

This very interesting area provides plenty of beauty. It's known for the salmon, but also for the many beautiful Douglas firs. You can take a high to the highest peak in the greater Victoria area, which is found in the Olympic Mountains or you can just enjoy the beauty of the area.

All of these spots provide a great place for a fall walk in the Victoria area. There's so much to enjoy and so much beauty available throughout Victoria. Make sure you get out and enjoy it before it's gone for the season.
