Victoria will provide plenty of events and things to do throughout the holiday season. From parades to craft shows, there will be plenty of choices. Here's a look at just a few of the many choices for the holiday season in Victoria.
It's Christmas Dinner Theatre - November 28th
This event will provide a traditional holiday feast of turkey, eggnog cheesecake and more. After dinner, the show will begin with plenty of stories and songs. The event will be held at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel and will start at 6pm. The show will be held in the David Foster Theatre and admission is $89 per person.
Centennial Square Ferris Wheel - November 29th to December 21st
The DVBA Ferris wheel is one of the most popular things to do for the holidays. It will be in Centennial Square for four weekends. The Ferris wheel stands 65 feet tall and will be open from 5pm to 10pm on Friday, 12pm to 10pm on Saturdays and from 12pm to 7pm on Sundays.
Island Farms Santa Light Parade - November 29th
This annual parade is the perfect event for the entire family. The floats will head down Government Street to Victoria's Inner Harbour, and then to Chatham Street. The entire route will be lit with holiday lights. After the parade free treats will be provided in the Capital Iron parking lot. Admission is free and the parade will start at 5:45pm.
Oaklands West Coast Winter Market - November 29th
Oaklands Community Centre will hold this special market from 10am to 4pm. All types of goods will be available from local farmers, crafters, creators, food carts and other vendors. This event will also include plenty of family activities, live music and so much more. The suggested donation is $3 per person at the door.
Sidney Sparkles Santa Parade and Sail Past Boat Parade - November 29th
Starting at 5pm on Beacon Avenue, this event will provide quite a bit if holiday fun. It's an annual event including the Jolly Old Elf, Santa and more. The parade will be followed by a parade of lights in boats starting at Port Sidney and heading to Tulista Park.
These are just a few of the many events coming up for the holiday season. They will all be held at the end of November to help get the season started off just right.
