VictoriaVictoria, British Columbia is home to sixteen different neighbourhoods. This city has plenty of great places to live. Here are the major neighbourhoods of Victoria.

Fernwood

Home to a number of cafes and trendy shops, this neighbourhood is very eclectic. It's the place for galleries and provides a great location convenient to most of the city.

Rockland

As one of the most exclusive neighbourhoods in the city, Rockland is a place full of large homes and extensive gardens.

Oak Bay

Found ten minutes from downtown Victoria, Oak Bay is an older neighbourhood with plenty of charm.

Burnside Gorge

This is a quiet area with plenty to offer residents.

Fisherman’s Wharf

Found within the Inner Harbour area, this is a small, but very popular area with plenty of restaurants, whale-watching tours and so much more. It's also home to the floating village.

Cordova Bay

This is a northern community found in Saanich and provides plenty of great highlights. Its home to a sandy beach and provides a great place for summer days. Many residents enjoy the Cordova Bay Golf Course and the many small shops found throughout.

West Bay / Saxe Point

This area of Victoria is found in the municipality of Esquimalt. It provides views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Saxe Point Park, which is one of the best parks in the area.

James Bay

A very popular area with beautiful gardens, parks and plenty of luxury homes.

Chinatown

An older area of the city, Chinatown provides the Chinese district in Canada. It's full of galleries, beautiful architecture and restaurants.

Estavan Village

This is a smaller neighbourhood found in Oak Bay.

Inner Harbour Victoria

Many museums are found here, along with Legislative Buildings and a boardwalk.

Fairfield & Cook Street Village

This is a residential neighbourhood with trendy shops and plenty of cafes.

Esquimalt

This area is found to the west of downtown and includes the Canadian Forces Base.

Uplands

This area is found within Oak Bay and provides a beautiful place with large estates.

Fort Street

A downtown area, Fort Street is known for the large amount of antique stores.

Victoria Old Town

This area is found in the heart of Victoria and provides the oldest area in the city.

All of these neighbourhoods provide something a little different throughout the Victoria area.
