EventsPlenty of events are on the schedule for the summer, but what about the fall? Victoria holds a number of events every year and some of the best happen every fall. Here are a few of the regular fall events you can enjoy throughout the area.

Ghosts of Victoria Festival

Maybe one of the most popular fall events, the Ghosts of Victoria Festival provides all types of fun activities. You can enjoy the haunted trolley cars, ghostly walks, pumpkin art and more. Since Victoria is known as the most haunted city in the province, this is a very popular event held every year.

Art of the Cocktail

Those looking for a fun food and beverage event will love the Art of the Cocktail. This is a premier mixology event and one of the best in all of Canada. Enjoy watching bartenders shake, stir and create the most amazing cocktails throughout the competition.

Rifflandia Festival

With ten stages and over 100 performances, the Rifflandia Festival is one of the hottest events of the fall. It lasts four days and provides plenty of fun in the historic area of downtown. Not only can you enjoy plenty of live music, but also plenty of movies throughout the city.

Salmon Run

The Goldstream Provincial Park hosts the Salmon Run every year. This is a world-class event and allows plenty of chum salmon returning for the fall.

Goodlife Fitness Victoria Marathon

This 42-kilometre run provides something for the fitness guru every year. It's attended by thousands of runners and held every October. The event also features a half-marathon, 8K race, a speaker series and a kids' run.

These are just a few of the many fall events coming to Victoria each year. If you get excited about the fall, you can attend one of the many events to fulfill your excitement.
