The third annual Victoria Writer’s Festival is coming to Victoria this fall. On November 6th, 7th, and 8th you can enjoy literary workshops, gala readings, panel discussions and video poem screenings. Featured writers will include Nancy Lee, Don McKay, Darrell Dennis and Bill Gaston.

The festival is being hosted by Anne Giardini, John Gould, Joan MacLeod, Jack Knox and Devon Tatton.
The events will include workshops, readings, classes, and children’s activities. Festival passes provide access to three gala readings and any of the six panel discussions. You’ll also get to see the Carol Shields Lecture.
You can choose from the ten events to attend. Workshops cost extra. Tickets for the festival are $55 and can be purchased online or at Munro’s Books, Tanner’s Books, The Fairfield Market or Ivy’s Bookshop.

The Victoria Writer’s Festival is a three-day celebration of literature and writers that introduces readers to some of their favourite authors from far away and locally. The non-profit community hosting the event is throwing the festival to allow writing to be available to the community.
