With the winter nearly here, it's important to find events that will help you get out and enjoy some social fun. There are always festivals going on throughout Victoria. Even though the summer is the best time for festivals, there are still a few good choices in the months of January, February and March. Here are three upcoming festivals in Victoria.
Health, Wellness & Sustainability Festival - February 7th at the Victoria Conference Centre
This festival is perfect for those that live healthy and want to learn more about living healthy. There will be plenty of experts on hand to provide their knowledge, along with plenty of vendors. Whether you live a gluten-free lifestyle or you want to learn about massage therapy, you can find it here.
The festival will run from 10am to 5pm. The cost is $6 in advance or $8 at the door and children 12 and under get in free.
Victoria Beer Week - March 7th to March 15th
If you love beer, this is the right festival for you. It's a nine-day festival with plenty of events held at different locations throughout the area. There will be small tastings, large tastings, seminars, cask nights, micro-events, movies and so much more.
The Victoria Beer Week attracts many BC craft beers, along with many from around the world. It also attracts a number of artisan food vendors and beer experts.
Many of the events will be held at the Victoria Public Market at the Hudson. Tickets range in price depending on which events you want to attend. However, they are less expensive if you buy them early. Get more information about the Victoria Beer Week Festival here, http://victoriabeerweek.com.
