Mount Work Regional Park

Found near the Gowlland Tod Provincial Park, this Regional Park provides one of the largest in the area. It features the Durrace, Pease and Fork fresh water lakes, which are perfect for fishing, boating and swimming. Along with the lakes, you can enjoy the many kilometers of trails, mountain bike areas and so much more.

John Dean Provincial Park

Some of the best views of the Saanich Peninsula are found from this park, along with views of the Cascade Mountains and Gulf Islands. The park is found on Mount Newton and provides a great place to enjoy hiking. Whether you just want to escape everyday life or you love nature, the John Dean Provincial Park is a great place to go.

Gowlland Tod Provincial Park

A large park covering over 1,200 hectares, this beautiful area is found near the Saanich Inlet. Some of the best hiking in all of Victoria is found here with over 25 kilometers of trails ranging in difficulty. Families can enjoy the time they spend together here as they take a dip in the water or just go for a hike throughout the area.

Elk/Beaver Lake

Found about 15 minutes from downtown Victoria, the Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park provides beautiful views of nature, a great place for hikers and trails for horse riders. The outdoor recreation found here is amazing and many enjoy all types of activities throughout the year.
