Charming little things make live so grand and Victoria is full of them. Visiting the Inner Harbour provides a great way to spend the day, but the way you get there also matters. Sure, you could just hop in the car, but that's not really much fun. Instead, hop on a bus and you may just get to ride to the harbour in one of the double decker busses the city uses for transit.
Once you arrive at the harbour, a trip on the pickle boat or Harbour Ferry is in order. This will allow you the ability to see some of the natural beauty of the area. You can also check out the many artisans and buskers found along the causeway. Make sure to check out the Copper Cowgirl, especially if you have children with you.
Usually, the pickle boat skippers are friendly and share plenty of knowledge during your ride. You can take the ferry over to Fisherman's Wharf, which is one of the best places to visit within the Victoria area.
Once you arrive at the Wharf, you will be able to enjoy all types of fun ranging from the floating homes to pirate adventures and so much more. All types of events happen here throughout the year and if you time your visit just right, you may get to enjoy the open floating houses or some other type of event.
Of course, there's always a chance you will see one of the harbour seals and plenty of other sea life. You will want to visit the Pirate Adventures tent if you take this trip with children. This is a great attraction and the Black Spirit ship is huge part of it.
Dining at the Inner Harbour is a great choice, as well. Plenty of fresh seafood is found here and everybody will be very happy with the food options. Whether you take this trip with your family, as a couple or by yourself, there's always plenty to enjoy at the Inner Harbour area of Victoria.
