There is something very charming about James Bay. It could be that this is one of the oldest cities in the region. It could be the incredible charm of the city’s downtown area. Or, it could be the vibrant community life present. If you have not been to James Bay, make a plan to visit this neighbourhood. It is only a few minutes from the Downtown Victoria area, and that proximity makes it highly attractive to those that work in this area. And, when you do take that short walk, be sure to look at the homes on either side of the street. Many are Victorian homes, some of which date back 100 years or more. Many are historically charming and well preserved. And, you can often buy them as well.

Located on the edge of Inner Harbour, this community has a great deal to offer both visitors and those that want to live here. It has a number of parks and garden areas, including Beacon Hill Park’s acclaimed gardens. You will also find the charming architecture of the Parliament Buildings to be a nice feature.
