Victoria is a spooky destination with a haunted building right in the oldest Chinatown in Canada. Get in a costume and come join in with the fun; whether it is a journey swashbuckling with pirates or taking a ghostly tour. The action is here and you and your family have got to come check out all the commotion.

Veneto Tapa Lounge is a sophisticated resto-lounge with small plate offerings and a huge cocktail list. You can come in dressed up or you can enjoy the restaurant casually. Either way, it's a great place to dine and socialize.

Veneto is found in a beautiful boutique style hotel called The Hotel Rialto. The property has been completely renovated to fit the needs of travellers and locals. If you're not familiar with the resto-lounge, this hybrid nightlife experience should be high on your list.

Victoria, British Columbia is home to the oldest brewpub in Canada.  Victoria’s breweries are unique in that they respect the tradition of brewing, but they also provide a somewhat modern twist which makes each one an experience to remember.

Visitor Centre

Your first stop should be at the visitor centre to pick up your brewery map. You can choose to go in a set guided tour, or, if you are more adventurous, follow the detailed map, and you can stroll at your leisure.

Beer Pub Visit

Spinnakers offers 11 year-round brews. They also serve a farm to table menu and patrons have a breath-taking view of the water.

Swans is another recommendation. Swans serves brew without added syrup or sugar. Don’t let that deter you. The taste is amazing.

Located on Oak Bay Avenue in Victoria, British Columbia is a fabulous place called Confit Food & Wine. Operating hours are Tuesday through Friday 11:30am to 2pm and Tuesday through Saturday 5:30pm to closing.

Chef Dwane is passionate about creating a culinary experience for the customer. He will accept no less than perfection, so he shops for only the freshest ingredients. His style of rustic French cooking uses only the best ingredients such as meats from the local butcher, greens from farmers on the Saanich Peninsula and seafood from the nearby waters.
